Beyond Success: Developing an Attitude of Gratitude

|-| Inspiration |-| Attitude |-| Gratitude |-| Success |-| ~ with Adeola

In our last post we talked about living your tomorrow today and watching how everything works in your favour.

This week, I would like to quickly touch on developing an ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE.

If you’ve really paid close attention to loads and loads of motivational topics, speeches and write-ups, one very striking similarity they all hold is the importance of ATTITUDE. We hear a lot about developing a humble attitude, an attitude for greatness, excellence and so much more. I would specifically like to touch on the attitude related to gratitude.

Recently, I found myself getting a little too carried away by the need to become successful that I totally forgot to halt, take a breather and appreciate the fullness of His goodness in my life. This happens to a lot of us often times that we even don’t realize how blessed we are.

Our attitude towards what and where we are today will determine to a great extent, how far in life we get. Take inventory as often as possible, be grateful for what and where you are, how far you’ve gone and how far you hope to be. Don’t lose focus, keep the bigger picture in mind, ALWAYS and be sure to take stock of how far gone you are and
how close you are to your greatness.

I so much love this quote by Brian Tracy… “develop an attitude for gratitude and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step towards achieving something bigger and better than your current situation…”

To your success….
