Breath: Waiting to Exhale!
As long as we live, every time we breathe in or out, we are repeating this mantra. I am That. I am divine, I am with God, I am an expression of God, I am not separate, I am not alone, I am not this limited illusion of an individual. ~Elizabeth Gilbert~
The gift of breath; it’s the first thing we take when we are born and it’s the last thing we give when we die, we breathe in and we breathe out.
Moment to Reflect:
It seen, I have been holding my breath, waiting for some “out come” expectations, expectations! it’s been a hectic week and the moment of inspiration came when I was in the bath room washing my face, right there when I was massaging my face and just focusing on my breath. Oh.., breathing never..felt…so….good, so it seemed, I’ve been waiting to exhale.
The moments that take our breath away:
-They are meant to heal-They are meant to restore-They are meant to soothe
So I ask; Is it possible that dying is healing!
Dying to controlling things, dying to self, dying to expectations.
The moments that keep our breath:
-they can seem like they will last forever.-they can make us rust, without the oxygen.-they are stressful, I mean have you ever realized how shallow your breath is when you are stressed?
So what about this breath?
It is the very life that reminds us to surrender, to trust, to have faith. As it comes and as it goes, we need to always remember that this life is a flow, all we need to do is to breathe and let the breath carry us through.
Are you “breathing”?
