The God Way….
The phrase ‘God is in control’ and ‘God will provide’ oftentimes have
little or no meaning to us and at other times when we are not really
paying attention, it truly does manifest and the depth of those words,
its reality completely hits us and I must attest to how amazing.
We get to a point in all of our lives where we are just too numb to
think, our reasoning skills, those abilities to make perfect planning
and just like geniuses, mastermind a way out for whatever corners we
find ourselves, they just leave us and we are just at the mercy of
something, anything or someone bigger and greater than ourselves.
I believe I’m an authority to speak on this now that I’m almost
becoming a ‘regular’ at needing that ‘supreme’ intervention and in all
of my experiences with the supremacy of the ultimate Being, I have
found a couple of things to be extremely true
1. That the beauty of what only He can do radiates truly and brightly
when we get ‘ourselves’ out of His way of doing what He alone can do.
2. He is more willing to step into any situation, to give His help
more than we will ever need it. He craves to be there more than we
need Him to be.
3. He is who I refer to as ‘Our Standby’. I live in a country where
power OUTAGE is more normal than having power even to the extent that
we worry whenever there isn’t power interruption as we believe its
either a trap or a sign that something bad is about to happen (more on
that in another article) so what we mostly rely on are power
generators of so many levels, now a more automatic one that you don’t
have to bother running out to turn on at every point power gets
interrupted is a ‘standby generator’, it just kicks in once other
options run out. Now the standby generator has always been there even
while power is fully on yet it just stands there ‘until’ it is really
needed and that is usually when its effect is truly felt.
God never leaves us for a moment, it turns out that we are the ones
mostly in His way and even in some situations, He’d have to really
push us out of the way to make way for His way. A very wise woman of
God once said and I quote ‘you are absolutely not smart enough to run
your life’ and I truly believe in that. Its good to be strong yet the
most foolish if our strength only relies on what we can do.
Vulnerability in Him is bliss….all the time.
This article is more of a testimony to His forever existing presence
in my life (and yours as well) and a declaration that He truly never
sleeps nor slumbers and he always is in control, just waiting for that
moment where we’ll just ‘let Him’ and stop trying so hard to ‘figure
it all out’. I really hope this has helped someone out there because
of a truth, His strength is made perfect in our weakness.
