Goal In Focus…

It has been said and proven over and over again that the effect of
goal setting is phenomenal, most especially when they are written and
revisited quite often. Several means have been devised to help keep
our goals in focus, John Asaraf suggested mind mapping, Brian Tracy
suggested keeping a copy in the wallet for easy reminder which helps
with focus as well.

As has been with me sometimes and I’m sure with some of you as well,
it does take us more than once to really hear and practice some skills
we aren’t already used to. I had written the goals and kept in wallets
as advised, drawn road maps and charted several graphs which were all
fantastic, believe me.

I learnt a trick earlier this year which was making a password of your
goals, for instance, if I wanted a certain amount by a certain month,
my password becomes that amount at that period anticipated  e.g If I
wanted to have $100 in my bank account by 30th of October, 2016 then
my password could be 100x30oct2016. You can tweak this in however you
please.

It felt strange at first having to write my goal everytime I have to
check my mail (you’ll have to disable automatic password for a more
effective result) but overtime, it got stuck in my subconscious and
became effortless, most times I’ve had to stop in my tracks and ask
how well I’m doing in that regards. It helped me stay conscious of
where I wanted to be at the end of a certain period.

The idea is not to haunt you but rather to help keep your goals in
focus since what you see (in your mind’s eye) and conceive is what you
can achieve.

Oh! And did I mention that it worked like magic with less effort and
good clarity. I’m sure this will work remarkably for you. Be sure to
share with us all how well it worked for you (I have no doubt it
will).

To your success always, Shalom
