A BETTER YOU: BE A FIGHTER
“Life can leave you so bitter, but you must believe that it gets better and better…” ~ Jessica Reedy.
I thought at some point of my life that I am that unlucky girl who doesn’t deserve any good thing in life. What I was going through then was enough to make me give up and not even have a dream of making an impact to this world. Everything around me made me see life as that huge pill that is too bitter to swallow.
I could not believe in my talents and gifts any more. My heart and zeal for working out my dreams at some point went frail. People have always encouraged one another that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
But have you ever been in a point in life that you can’t even see the tunnel itself? That was me then.
Today, I have realized that life is not all about luck. It’s not about being famous and having everything that the world terms as being ‘precious’. Everything is about what God says about us and what we learn from every situation of my life.
Today, believe that you will rise even after the battle;
That you will see sunshine after experiencing the eclipse.
Believe that you will find your way even with the teary eyes and a hurting heart.
I discovered that the earth is a battle field for the strong. It dawned on me that I ought to be that soldier who gets ready to go and fight to win! We may cry and our hearts may sink. That’s human. But we should emerge strong. We were created to be victors and not victims. Dear friend, even when you feel overwhelmed know that Jesus loves you anyway! You have a place in His heart and you will always be His son.
Life today is a case study that you will examine to go about the experiences of tomorrow. Handle it well.
Do you get better after a terrible experience in your life? That’s a question to ponder.
2 Corinthians 4:8, “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair…”
