You Were Born to Conquer…. Its Heaven Certified!
When you know who you are, nobody can convince you otherwise. When you realize your purpose, you absolutely live it. Well, it’s a new year and I’m sure of one thing – my identity. I am also sure of another thing – my purpose. I know I’m a daughter of a great Shepherd who is always watching my every step lest I fall. I believe God created me to conquer every Goliath that comes my way even if sometimes the sling appears too small and without value. Nonetheless, I learnt to be still and know that He is God.
What is your identity? Do you realize who you are? Do you know that you are a son of God? In this New Year I would urge us to discover our identity in Christ as well as live it. Maybe in the past years it has been challenging for you but guess what? He brought you into another brand new season for you to realize His greatness. God is real and He expects us to be real with Him also. Sometimes He seems so far away though; but it’s this time that we need to trust Him more. Do not close the door yet. He can never be late.
“Do not put a period where God has put a comma…this is just the beginning. It can’t be over
yet” – Excerpt from a sermon.
Before David was born, God knew that he would be a victor. At his young age, perhaps he had not come to a point of self-discovery. He might have settled on his everyday routine of tending his father’s sheep. However, in the midst of it all, God knew that David wasn’t an ordinary shepherd; he had been born to lead and to be a warrior for God’s people (1 Samuel 16:11). I hope that we all learn from David’s example.
“Knowing your identity in Christ makes you feel unbreakable because no matter what satan tries
to do to you, you know how strong you are in Christ and that’s all that matters” – Quote
Even as 2016 unfolds, may God be your source of strength and direction. Do not predict doom and negativity in any situation whatsoever. It’s heaven certified that you were born to conquer as well as lead a fulfilling life. May you live to achieve your aspirations in faith, conquer all doubts and experience tranquility in the midst of all life’s chaos. God is with you so faint not…
Happy New Year!
